Update, October 14: Jordan Brand has now announced the shoe. Its October 8 Space Jam 30th-anniversary release names an Air Jordan 11 Retro OG with 23 on the heel, a “Jumpman Jam” tongue label and a remake of the 2000 face box. It gives no date, price or style code for the 11, so the December 12 date and $235 price below are still leaked figures.
A long-running leak from @zSneakerheadz, reported by Sneaker Files, and in-hand photos point the same way: the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” returns on Saturday, December 12, for $235. Jordan Brand has confirmed the shoe itself in its Space Jam collection announcement, but no retailer has opened a launch page yet.
What Jordan Brand has confirmed
- The shoe: an Air Jordan 11 Retro OG, which the brand calls a near-replica of the pair from the 1996 film, with royal blue accents and patent leather.
- The heel: 23 with double-row stitching. The 2016 retro swapped that for 45, the number from his 1995 comeback.
- The tongue and box: a “Jumpman Jam” tongue label and a recreation of the Michael Jordan face box from the shoe’s 2000 release.
- The collection: five Space Jam Air Jordan 11 designs in all, with the collection available from November 5 at jordan.com and select retailers. The brand hasn’t said which pieces land that day.
What’s still leaked
- Date: Saturday, December 12, per the leak and most reports.
- Style code: CT8012-900, as reported, not yet seen on a Nike or retailer listing.
- Prices: most often reported as $235 men’s (Complex says $255), $190 grade school, $105 little kids and $90 toddler.
What we don’t know
- A UK date or £ price. The 2016 pair was £165 at size? and landed on the same Saturday as the US.
- A release time and launch method. SNKRS, Foot Locker, Finish Line and JD are all expected to carry it, but none has listed it.
Why it matters
December has been AJ11 month for most of the last decade, and the Space Jam is the colorway with the biggest name, timed for the film’s 30th anniversary. Holiday 11s usually come in large numbers, so this one shouldn’t need luck. The women’s “Magic Ball” 11 is part of the same collection. More on the line at our Jordan page.
We’ll move this to Releases once Nike or a major retailer lists the date, price and style code.
