Air Jordan 9 “Super Freak” Leak: Expected February 13, 2027

New photos show a Randy Moss-inspired Air Jordan 9 in Vikings colours, said to be due Super Bowl weekend at $215. Jordan Brand hasn't confirmed it.

Photos posted on October 14 give the first proper look at the Air Jordan 9 “Super Freak”. The date and price come from a leaker who first shared the shoe in August. Jordan Brand hasn’t said anything yet.

We checked Nike’s own product data in the US, the UK and Spain on November 2. None has a row for JK1415-100, the code the leak gives.

Randy Moss’s Jordan

Randy Moss was Jordan Brand’s first NFL athlete. He wore Jordans on the field for the Vikings and got his own shoe, the Jumpman Super Freak, in 2000.

The photos show an Air Jordan 9 in white leather with a black mudguard and Varsity Purple on the tongue and outsole: Minnesota Vikings colours. August’s mock-up had shown white leather with purple patent overlays, gold hits and “Super Freak” on the tongue. The new photos show something closer to a standard Air Jordan 9 build.

What we don’t know

  • The final design. Whether Moss’s No. 84 appears anywhere hasn’t been shown.
  • The date and price. The leak gives Saturday, February 13, 2027, the day before Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles, at $215. No Nike page or shop gives either, so neither is confirmed.
  • The UK. No UK date or £ price.

Jordan Brand hasn’t said where or how it will release. If it lands on that date, expect official images a few weeks before. More on our Jordan page.
