The Air Max 2000 is back under a new name. SNKRS released the Nike Air Max Ecstasy Plus in two colorways, Metallic Silver and White, and Black, on Wednesday, October 28, both at $180. Nike’s UK and Spanish pages date it for Sunday, November 22.
Nike’s Y2K runner, renamed
It’s the Air Max 2000, a runner from Nike’s Y2K experiments that has barely been seen since. Nike’s own description sums it up: two Air units, a low-profile upper and minimal branding. Supreme put it in its Fall/Winter 2026 collection under the new name, and these are the first general-release pairs.
The silver pair is the one that looks most like 2000. A reflective silver mesh upper is striped with glossy black overlays that sweep back from the toe, under a black mesh collar and a small black Swoosh near the toe. The black midsole carries a full-length run of visible Air, with the bigger unit under the heel. The Black pair is the same shoe tonal, with only the clear Air units breaking it up.
A third colorway, “Desert Khaki”, has shown up in official images, but Nike hasn’t given it a date or a price.
Can you still get a pair?
Yes, easily, on Nike’s listings for the Metallic Silver and White and the Black. In the UK it’s on Nike GB from November 22; the page is marked inactive until then.
How it went
Two colorways at once, a general release and a model most buyers don’t know yet: sizes stuck around. Two days after the drop, Nike’s US page showed healthy stock across sizes. On November 2, Nike’s US stock still had all 17 sizes of the silver pair, eight of them deep. Our hype score is an estimate until resale has a number to show. More from the brand on our Nike page.
