The Women’s Nike First Sight Shadow in Cream II and Enigma Stone (HQ2410-200) has a SNKRS date: Wednesday, October 28, at 10:00 ET, $145. It’s the Shadow’s second colorway after the red one in September, and the quietest one yet.
What the Shadow is
First Sight is a women’s-only trio Nike introduced in March: the Noir, which crosses a track spike with a loafer, the Mirage, a football boot crossed with an Oxford, and the Shadow, which Nike’s announcement says draws on its early-2000s basketball shoes. SNKRS calls it the piece that “completes the innovative trilogy”.
It’s a laceless slip-on with a sculpted, rippled upper and a pull loop at the heel. The standout is the cluster of chrome bubbles on the side, which look like the pods on an old Foamposite pushed through the skin of the shoe. Underneath, the traction pattern is Nike’s own court design, and the toe carries a small, dark Swoosh.
This pair keeps everything in one tone: a cream sole and a soft, stone-grey upper, with the chrome as the only contrast.
Release date and price
- US: Wednesday, October 28, 10:00 ET, on Nike’s SNKRS listing, $145, in women’s sizes.
- UK and Europe: Nike’s UK and Spanish launch pages aren’t up, so there’s no UK date or £ price yet.
Who it’s for
It’s a women’s general release on SNKRS with no draw announced and no resale record to speak of, so it scores 30 on our hype bar, an estimate. This is for anyone who wants something that looks nothing like a retro, rather than a resale play.
It’s US-only for now; if a UK listing goes up we’ll add it. More from the brand on our Nike page.
