Jordan Brand’s Space Jam anniversary has a baseball pair too. The Jordan 11 Retro MCS “Space Jam” (JA7792-400) puts the Air Jordan 11’s upper on a studded cleat, and Nike’s SNKRS listing has it for Thursday, November 5 at 10:00 ET, priced at $225.
What it is
Nike names the colourway Lapis/Off Noir. In its photos the upper is one shade of lapis blue-purple from toe to collar, set against black laces, a black collar lining and a black midsole. The stud plate is lapis as well, and the Jumpman on the ankle is tonal.
Underneath, the 11’s translucent outsole is swapped for a foam midsole and a plate of studs. Nike’s product notes list a smooth synthetic leather upper with perforations on the toe and sides for airflow, and a mid-cut collar. Nike’s top-down shot shows a Space Jam graphic on the insoles.
Release date and price
- US: Thursday, November 5, 10:00 ET, on SNKRS, $225 in men’s sizes 7 to 18. Some sneaker press reported $200; Nike’s own listing says $225.
- UK and Europe: it isn’t on Nike’s UK or Spanish SNKRS calendars, so there’s no UK or EU date.
It lands the same day the Space Jam 30th collection opens, a drop led by the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Magic Ball”.
Will it be hard to get?
For players, probably not. A baseball cleat has a far smaller crowd than a basketball 11, so it scores 30 on our hype bar (estimated), with SNKRS the main way in. The real queue in this collection is for the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”, reported for December 12. More Jordan drops on our Jordan page.
