An Air Jordan 3 “Utility” in black leather with Fire Red laces (IX0198-001) has now turned up in retailer product images, credited to size? in the UK, after an earlier image from zSneakerHeadz. Sneaker News and HotNewHipHop report Saturday, January 16, 2027, at $215. Jordan Brand hasn’t announced it.
What the images show
Black leather covers most of the upper, with what HotNewHipHop describes as a darker elephant print on the toe and heel (Sneaker News calls it a darkened cement print), and the red laces are the only real colour. Dotted fabric runs around the eyestays and collar. Earlier reports mentioned bungee-style laces, a toggle lock and a heel pull tab, but HotNewHipHop notes the size? images don’t clearly show them.
Sneaker News suggests the “Utility” name describes the palette more than a hardened build.
What we know, and what we don’t
- Seen: style code IX0198-001, Black/Fire Red, men’s sizing.
- Expected: Saturday, January 16, 2027, $215 (Sneaker News, HotNewHipHop, Sneaker Bar Detroit). Sneaker Files lists it in its spring 2027 line-up with a mock-up image.
- Not known: it isn’t on SNKRS in the US, UK or Spain yet, so there’s no confirmed date, time or UK price.
Our confidence is 96: retailer product images, credited to size? in the UK, back up an earlier image from zSneakerHeadz. Both point the same way on the shoe; the date is the part still in question. More from the brand on our Jordan page.
