The Nike Goadome Low Foam “Metallic Gold” (IV7693-700) puts a Foamposite-style shell on the Goadome Low, and Europe gets it first. In the UK it’s on SNKRS GB at 08:00 on Friday, November 6 for £184.99, and SNKRS Spain opens at the same moment (09:00 Madrid time) at €199.99, seven hours before the US launch.
Goadome meets Foamposite
The gold panels are the point. Nike’s listing says they reinterpret “the liquid-like upper of a classic Foamposite”, the 1997 basketball shoe Eric Avar designed. Its upper started as a liquid poured into a mould, and Complex reports the mould alone cost $750,000. Penny Hardaway made it famous, though Complex says Avar didn’t design it with him in mind: Penny spotted it in Avar’s bag after passing on everything else.
The other half is the Goadome, an ACG winter boot from the early 2000s that Gear Patrol calls Nike’s direct answer to Timberland. Nike’s listing and photos show this Low on a lugged rubber outsole with exposed Air units, and ACG lettering moulded into the midsole.
This crossover was first shown at a Paris Fashion Week showcase in June, per Highsnobiety, and Sneaker Bar Detroit reports an early release through Luke’s NYC on October 17 at $200. The full-height version, the Air Max Foamdome “Electro Purple”, hits SNKRS a day earlier, on November 5, at $265.
The shoe
Nike lists the colorway as Metallic Gold/Black/Cargo Khaki. Under the gold is a black leather upper; the overlays are synthetic leather with debossed ridges that sweep back from the toe. In Nike’s photos the gold turns olive-green towards the toe and heel, and Highsnobiety calls it a “Green Goblin” scheme.
Everything else is black: the laces, the mesh collar, the pull loops on the tongue and heel, the small tonal Swoosh near the heel, and the rubber outsole, with its exposed Air units and chunky lugs.

Will it be hard to get?
Our hype score is 32 (estimated). It’s a SNKRS and Nike.com launch in men’s sizes, it has already sold once through Luke’s NYC, and there’s no pre-release resale data to go on. The Goadome Low “Black Croc” was still on SNKRS in most sizes two days after its launch in October.
In the UK and Spain, the 08:00 and 09:00 launches mean the pair is out before most US buyers are awake. More from the brand on our Nike page.
