The Nike Ja 4 “Unseen” is a volt Ja 4 with black accents. It’s on Nike.com and Foot Locker’s calendar for Friday, November 13, at $130. Europe is already in sight: Nike’s UK and Spanish product data list the pair, though with no sale date yet.
Nike GB’s price is £119.99. In Spain it’s 129.99 €. The last Ja 4, “Dark Mode”, only reached Nike GB and Nike Spain two weeks after its US launch.
The unseen hours
Nike’s listing explains the name. “Unseen Hours” is the time in the gym “when the lights are low, the cameras are gone and it’s just you and the grind”. Foot Locker’s calendar uses the full name, Nike Ja 4 Unseen Hours.
It isn’t only Ja’s. Nike sold a G.T. Future “Unseen Hours” on Nike.com from September 23, at $210, so this is a Nike Basketball theme with a Ja 4 in it. The Ja 4 carries Ja’s own words as well. Nike says “If you are down there” is moulded into the outsole. Ja’s other line, “I don’t only have motion where my feet are at, it’s global”, is on the side of the JA-frame, Nike says.
Volt foam, black frame
Nike’s colour line is Volt/Cobalt Bliss/Black. In its photos the textured foam upper is volt from toe to heel. The Swoosh, the JA-frame wrapping the midfoot and the collar are black. So is the rubber outsole, with a volt triangle under the forefoot. The tongue carries Ja’s logo.
Underneath, it’s the Ja 4’s setup: Cushlon 3.0 foam with a SPRPWR sockliner on top, and an outsole pattern Nike says is drawn from the logo.
How to get a pair
In the US it’s on Nike.com and Foot Locker on Friday, November 13, first come, first served. In the UK and Spain it’s in Nike’s product data, but not on sale yet, and Nike’s pages for it there don’t open yet.
Will it be hard to get?
No. The Ja 4 is a $130 performance shoe sold through Nike.com and Foot Locker rather than a SNKRS draw. Nike excludes it from site promotions, so expect to pay the full $130 on Nike.com. More from the brand on our Nike page.
