Nike GB and Nike Spain have sold this pair since October 22; in the US it arrives Monday, November 9, at Foot Locker. It’s an Air Force 1 ’07 in olive and black with pebble-grain overlays and a Total Orange sole. Foot Locker calls it “Animal Instinct” and lists it at $125.
Pebble grain on an olive base
The base panels are olive. The toe cap, eyestay, heel and side overlays are black and anthracite with a raised pebble grain. Nike’s listing says the upper is genuine leather, with the perforated toe box the AF1 has always had.
The black Swoosh sits flat on the olive. Orange shows up only in small doses: the tongue tag, a small lace tag, the Nike Air hit on the heel and the outsole. The midsole stays white, with the usual AIR logo near the heel.
Nike’s own name for the colours is Black/Anthracite/Total Orange/Black. It doesn’t use the “Animal Instinct” name anywhere on its UK or Spain pages; that’s Foot Locker’s.
How to get a pair
In the US, Foot Locker has it on its release calendar for Monday as the Air Force 1 Low LE, in men’s sizes. Nike’s US site doesn’t list it. Foot Locker has an Air Max 90 “Animal Instinct” on the same morning too, in black with an orange Swoosh, at $145.
In the UK and Spain there’s no queue to join. It’s on general sale on Nike GB and Nike Spain now. On Friday morning, Nike’s European stock showed 15 of 17 sizes available, most of them marked low.
Will it be hard to get?
It’s a general-release AF1 colorway. On Friday, 15 days after it went on sale in Europe, Nike’s European stock still showed 15 of 17 sizes. More Air Force 1s are on our Nike page.
