Update, November 2: Nike’s US stock is down to two sizes, and its European stock has none (How it went, below).
Nike’s Halloween AF1 for 2026 is out. The Air Force 1 ’01 “Nightmare” released on SNKRS on Friday, October 23, at $140.
Pins through black leather
It’s built on the Air Force 1 ’01, the slimmer 2001-era cut of the low. The upper is black leather sectioned into a grid by Gym Red stitching. Small metallic silver pins sit where the lines cross, across the toe box, the side panels and the heel. Nike’s own description has the pins splitting the leather to show the red beneath.
Everything else stays dark. The Swoosh is tonal black, and the midsole and outsole are black on black. The only bright colour is the Gym Red lining, collar and the Nike Air embroidery on the heel and tongue.
The pins and grid are widely read as Hellraiser’s Pinhead. Nike hasn’t named a film or a collaborator, so that’s a reading, not an official tie-in.
Can you still get a pair?
Barely, from Nike. Nike’s SNKRS listing is the place to check. Nike’s UK and Spanish product data list the pair, but marked inactive, so it isn’t on sale there. If you look on resale, $140 is the retail price to measure any ask against.
How it went
It sold through. By October 28, five days after the drop, SNKRS no longer showed it available. On November 2, Nike’s US stock had just 2 of 17 sizes, both running low. Nike’s European stock showed all eight of its sizes sold out.
It came out six days after the Air Jordan 5 “Halloween”. More from the brand on our Nike page.
