Nike released the Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green” on SNKRS and at Jordan retailers on Saturday, October 31, in the US, UK and Spain. Each market’s launch went live a little later than first listed. Men’s pairs and big kids’ pairs both came out, so Halloween got a Jordan that has nothing to do with Halloween.
The Ferrari 14, back in green
The Forest Green first came out in 2005, and this was its first retro, per Nike’s own listing. It sticks to the formula: a white leather upper with the stitched, perforated lines that run back from the toe. Forest Green covers the toe vents, the sculpted panel that sweeps along the midsole and the heel collar.
The AJ14 was the last signature shoe Michael Jordan wore on court for Chicago, and its look came from his Ferrari. That’s where the shield-shaped Jumpman badge on the quarter panel and the vented toe come from. Nike’s description mentions chrome details and carbon fibre accents; the carbon shows through under the arch. Round the back, a grey 23 and Jumpman sit on the heel, and the grey tongue pull ends in a green bead.
Can you still get a pair?
Yes. In the US it’s on Nike’s SNKRS listing, with big kids’ pairs at $155. Select Jordan Brand stockists carry it in store and online, and Foot Locker’s grade-school listing has big kids’ pairs at the same $155. In the UK it’s on Nike’s SNKRS UK listing, and in Spain on Nike SNKRS Spain.
How it went
The US had more to go round. The day after the drop, Nike’s numbers showed most US sizes still deep, while UK and Spain sizes leaned toward low stock. On November 2, Nike’s US stock had 14 of 22 sizes, 12 of them deep. Its European stock had 19 of 23, most running low.
It was a full general release through SNKRS and Jordan retailers, so stock was deep by Jordan retro standards, and our hype score is low and marked as an estimate. The appeal is that it’s a 2005 colorway that never came back, not that it’s scarce. It closed out a busy October for Jordan after the Air Jordan 12 “Fireside” on October 24 and the women’s Air Jordan 3 “Fireside” the day before. More on our Jordan page.
