Jordan Brand’s Space Jam anniversary opens on Thursday, November 5, and the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Magic Ball” (IX6375-001) is the pair leading it: $130 for men’s on Foot Locker’s launch calendar, with two Space Jam AJ1 Mids and a Spizike Low the same day.
The Magic Ball, and the rest of the drop
The Magic Ball is a black AJ1 Low wrapped in iridescent leather that shifts from bronze to teal to purple depending on the light, a nod to the glowing ball from the 1996 film. The Swoosh, laces, collar and midsole are black, the Wings logo on the heel is stitched in white, and the outsole is a translucent green. Look down at the tongues and they don’t match: a Hare Jordan figure on one, a green-outlined Jumpman on the other.
Three more pairs land with it at Foot Locker:
- Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Space Jam” (IX6374-001): $140, black with Yellow Zest; Foot Locker calls it “Air Bugs”. Some sneaker press have it at $165, but Foot Locker’s listing says $140.
- Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Hare” (IZ9293-001): $140, a grey shaggy-suede pair named for Bugs.
- Jordan Spizike Low “Jam Central” (IX6381-001): $165, black with Atomic Orange and Green Strike.
It’s the opening act. Nike’s announcement says the 30th anniversary collection goes on sale “starting November 5 at jordan.com and select retailers”, and the 11s follow later: the Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen” in mid-November and the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”, reported for December 12.
Release date and price
- US: Thursday, November 5, on Foot Locker’s launch page, $130 for men’s, one pair per person. Foot Locker also lists grade school at $115, preschool at $80 and toddler at $70.
- UK: Nike’s UK product page shows £129.99, marked coming soon without a date yet.
- Jordan.com: no launch page yet; Nike says the collection starts there on the 5th.
Will it be hard to get?
Not especially. It’s a general release in full family sizing, and Space Jam AJ1 Lows and Mids have tended to trade around retail rather than above it, which is why it scores 26 on our hype bar. The Mids and the Spizike should be similar. If you want the whole set, the bigger fight comes later with the 11s.
The Magic Ball’s iridescent leather is the one detail photos struggle with, so check it in hand if your store has it. More Jordan releases on our Jordan page, and the month ahead in our November ranking.
