November is front-loaded with Jordan retros and ends with its biggest retro: the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” on Black Friday weekend. Here are the seven pairs worth planning for, ranked by how hard each will be to get at retail.
Only some of these dates are locked in. Where a brand or retailer listing shows the date and price, we say so. Where the date comes from sneaker press reporting and Nike hasn’t put a listing up yet, we label it reported. Treat those as the plan, not a promise.
How we ranked
The order follows our hype score: how hard a pair will be to get on release day. It weighs reported stock against demand (half), resale on the shoe or its closest comparable (30%), and how it’s sold, from general release up to a single-store draw (20%). With no pre-release resale data yet for most of these, the resale part leans on comparable past releases. Nobody paid to be on this list.
Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen”
A Gym Green and Lucky Green 11 with an orange accent and a glow outsole, made for Space Jam’s 30th anniversary (style code IQ5700-900). It’s reported at $255, but the date is split: Sneaker Bar Detroit and House of Heat say Saturday, November 14, Sole Retriever and Complex say Monday, November 16. Reports also differ on whether it goes wide or only to select Jordan Brand stores, which is why it tops this list. Wait for Nike’s listing before you set an alarm.
Kobe 8 Protro “Shanghai Fireworks”
The orange Kobe 8 that was a China exclusive the first time comes back worldwide as a Protro. Hypebeast reports Wednesday, November 11, at $200 on SNKRS; Sneaker News only commits to the holiday window. Kobe Protros on SNKRS have a habit of going in minutes, so expect a draw.
Air Jordan 4 “Bred”
Black nubuck, Cement Grey and Fire Red, with Nike Air on the heel, in the shape of the 1989 original (IX8180-001). Most reports say Friday, November 27, at $230 for men’s; Sneaker Bar Detroit has Saturday, November 28. It’s a wide release in full family sizing, so there will be more pairs than anything above it here, and more people chasing them too. In the UK, The Sole Supplier lists Friday, November 27, at £190.
Air Jordan 3 “Not Nice”
The holiday 3 in Black, Challenge Red, Off Noir and Elemental Gold (IF4396-001). Reported for Saturday, November 21, at $215, through SNKRS and the big Jordan chains. Men’s sizes are the only ones reported so far.
Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared”
The white take on the 1991 Infrared 6, the model MJ wore to his first title. This one is listed: Foot Locker’s release calendar shows Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 ET, $215 for men’s and $80 for toddlers. It’s a general release, so it should be one of the easier pairs this month.
Air Bakin High OG “Varsity Royal”
Nike’s ’90s Air Bakin High comes back with wavy Varsity Royal overlays on a black upper and a visible Air unit in the heel. Foot Locker lists it for Thursday, November 12, at $170 (style code IQ5365-400).
LeBron 24
Nike’s new LeBron launches worldwide on Tuesday, November 17, at $200, with a KingKnit upper Nike calls his lightest game shoe yet. It will be easy to get at launch; it’s here because it’s the month’s biggest new performance shoe. Full details.
Also on the calendar
- New Balance Maxey 1: Monday, November 2, $120 at Foot Locker. Tyrese Maxey’s first signature shoe.
- Nike Air Diamond Turf II Patent “Black/Red/Gold”: Friday, November 13, $170 at Foot Locker.
- adidas AE 3 “Lucid Pink”: reported for Friday, November 20, at $130.
Already looking at December
The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” is still pointed at Saturday, December 12, so if you’re budgeting for both 11s, the Green Screen and the Space Jam sit four weeks apart.
The first sure thing this month is Saturday, November 7: the White Infrared 6 at 10:00 ET.
