Nike’s “lazy Blazer” gets its second colorway, and its price goes up: the Blazy “Tie Dye” (IV7023-700) is $105, $10 more than the first Blazy, the “Varsity Red”, which launched on October 15 at $95. It’s on SNKRS and Nike.com on Wednesday, November 4 at 10:00 ET.
The first Blazy reached Nike’s UK and Spanish product pages two days after its US launch, at £79.99 and 89.99 €. This one has no UK or Spanish listing yet.
The shoe
Nike describes the Blazy as a Blazer with more room in the toe box and a double-taped midsole that tips the shoe back as if it were reclining, which is where the “lazy” name comes from. Nike’s colour line is Dark Sulfur/Sail/Multi-Color.
In Nike’s photos, the quarter panels and Swoosh are tie-dye fabric in pink, purple, orange, teal and black, set against shaggy Dark Sulfur suede on the toe, eyestay and heel. The laces match the suede, the double-taped midsole is sail, and the outsole is the Blazer’s herringbone. The tongue label and sockliner carry an orange Nike logo.
