This First Sight Shadow is a European drop. Nike’s UK and Spain launch pages list it for Monday, November 9, and Nike’s US data has no launch date for it. The “Enigma Stone” pair lands in the UK and Spain the same morning.
The third of First Sight
First Sight is a women’s-only trio Nike introduced in March: the Noir, the Mirage and the Shadow. Nike’s announcement says the Shadow draws on its early-2000s basketball shoes, and its launch page calls it the piece that “completes the innovative trilogy”.
The Shadow has had a busy autumn. A red pair came in September, then the cream and stone “Enigma Stone” on SNKRS US on October 28. This one has no US date so far.
Gridiron grey and chrome
It’s a laceless slip-on with a sculpted, rippled upper and a pull loop at the heel. Here the upper is Gridiron, a dark blue-grey with a soft sheen. The cluster of chrome pods on the side is the only bright thing on it.
The sole is black, with a court-style traction pattern Nike designed for the shoe. A small black Swoosh sits by the toe.
How to get a pair
It’s a first-come drop on Nike’s UK SNKRS page and Nike Spain’s, in women’s sizes. Spain goes live at the same moment as the UK, an hour later on the local clock.
US: no SNKRS or Nike.com date yet, although Nike’s US stock feed already lists 16 sizes. If a US date appears, we’ll add it here. More Nike drops are on our Nike page.
