Foot Locker’s release calendar now has the Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared” down for Saturday, November 7 at 10:00 ET, priced at $215 for men’s sizes. It’s the colorway Michael Jordan wore in 1991, the season of the Bulls’ first title.
What’s different this time
The shape and blocking follow the original: a white leather upper with perforated panels, Infrared on the midsole, the lace lock and the spoiler-style heel tab, black on the inner sleeve and collar lining, an Infrared Jumpman on the white tongue, and a translucent “icy” outsole. The style code is CT8529-105.
The detail collectors care about is on the heel. Sneaker press reporting on the pair (Sneakerjagers, Sole Retriever) says Nike Air branding returns there, where the 2010 and 2014 retros used a Jumpman. Jordan Brand hasn’t published its own product photos yet, so the shot above is Foot Locker’s.
Release date and price
- US: Saturday, November 7, 10:00 ET, $215 (men). Foot Locker lists grade-school pairs at $155, pre-school at $95 and toddler at $80 on the same day.
- Where: Foot Locker’s launch page (reservations through the Foot Locker app), with SNKRS and other Jordan Brand stockists expected to carry it too.
- UK and Europe: not listed on Nike GB or Nike Spain yet, so no UK date or £ price to give.
Will it be hard to get?
It’s a full-family general release, which keeps it within reach for most sizes on the day. Pre-release asks on StockX sit a little above retail, around $270 for men’s sizes, which is a mild premium for a Jordan 6 OG. Our hype score is 43.
More from the brand on our Jordan page, and the rest of the month’s big drops in the most anticipated releases of November.
