Nike brings back the KD 6 “Texas” on Tuesday, November 17, at $135. That’s $5 more than the 2013 original, and Nike says all of its tech is intact. The UK and Spain have no listing yet.
His one season at Texas
Kevin Durant played one college season, at the University of Texas, before the NBA. Nike’s listing calls this pair a nod to it, in black and Urban Orange.
The first KD 6 “Texas” came out on October 10, 2013, at $130. Sneaker Files’ release page lists that date and price. The 2026 pair carries the same colours and the same green splatter.
Green that glows
The Green Glow flecks across the black upper and midsole are glow-in-the-dark, Nike says. The visible Air unit and the outsole get the same glowing paint.
Under it is the 2013 build: a light synthetic upper with Flywire cables, Zoom Air in the forefoot and Nike Air in the heel. The tongue carries Durant’s “35” logo, and his initials sit on the outer heel, the outsole and the sockliner.
How to get a pair
It’s on Nike’s SNKRS listing in men’s sizes. Nike’s launch data has it first come, first served, not a draw.
Foot Locker’s release calendar lists the KD VI “Texas” for the same day at the same price.
UK and Europe: not listed on Nike GB or Nike Spain yet.
Will it be hard to get?
Nike’s US stock feed lists 18 sizes for it. It’s a first-come drop, not a draw, at basketball-shoe money. Our hype score is 44, an estimate: Nike gives no allocation. More basketball drops are on our Nike page.
