The Anthony Edwards 3 “Omen” dropped on Friday, October 23, at $130 in men’s sizes. Foot Locker lists the colour as Silver/Red/Solar Silver; it’s known as the Omen.
Red mesh, silver cage
It’s the loudest AE 3 yet: bright red mesh under a silver metallic cage, with the chevron shapes running from heel to toe. The heel clip and outsole are silver, and the tongue and lining black. Red and black for the week of Halloween is not subtle, and isn’t meant to be.
The AE 3 is Edwards’ third adidas signature. The Omen followed the “Cold Blooded” on September 18 and the “Snow Camo” on October 9, both at Foot Locker.
Can you still get a pair?
In the US it’s on Foot Locker’s product page, and grade school pairs are at Champs for $100. In the UK, Foot Locker UK has it at £109.99. In Spain it’s on Foot Locker Spain. Neither European shop gave a separate launch date.
How it went
It was a general release, and it stayed on the shelf. On October 28, all three Foot Locker shops listed it as in stock, though sizes varied. On November 2 we couldn’t read stock on Foot Locker’s pages, which load it in the browser. The $130 retail price is the benchmark, and our hype score of 24 was an estimate. Other adidas releases are on our adidas page, and the other Halloween pairs this month include the Air Jordan 5 “Halloween” and the AF1 ’01 “Nightmare”.
