The Air Jordan 11 is joining Space Jam’s 30th anniversary. Nike’s SNKRS app lists the women’s Air Jordan 11 Retro “Magic Ball” (IZ1800-200) for Wednesday, November 11 at 10:00 ET, at $235.
A colour-shifting 11
The Magic Ball is named after the glowing ball from the 1996 film, and Nike’s photos show an upper that shifts from olive gold to copper and red depending on the angle. Nike calls the colourway Light British Tan/Metallic Silver/Off Noir and describes the upper as smooth synthetic leather. The collar lining, laces and midsole are black, the Jumpman on the ankle is a metallic copper, and the outsole is a translucent icy blue.
Underneath it’s the familiar 11: full-length Nike Air and a midfoot shank, per Nike’s listing. It’s sized for women only.
Release date and price
- US: Wednesday, November 11 at 10:00 ET on Nike’s SNKRS launch page, $235. Nike’s regular product page shows the same date.
- UK: Thursday, November 5 at 08:00 GMT on Nike UK, £199.99.
- Spain: the same day at 09:00 on Nike Spain, 219.99 €.
That puts Europe six days ahead of the US: in Nike’s UK and Spanish product data the Magic Ball 11 lands on November 5, the day the Space Jam collection opens.
Where it sits in the Space Jam 30th
The collection starts on November 5 with the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Magic Ball”, which shares this pair’s name and colour-shift idea, plus two AJ1 Mids and a Spizike Low. SNKRS also lists a Jordan 11 Retro MCS “Space Jam” baseball cleat for that day at $225. The biggest pair comes last: the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”, reported for December 12.
Will it be hard to get?
Harder than the AJ1 Lows. It’s an 11 on SNKRS, in women’s sizes only, which keeps the pool of pairs smaller. We’ve scored it 49 on our hype bar, an estimate, since there’s no resale data yet. More on our Jordan page.
UK and Spain buyers get the first go: if you want a pair, November 5 at Nike UK or Nike Spain comes before the US launch.
