The Air Max 2000 is back under a new name. SNKRS lists the Nike Air Max Ecstasy Plus in two colorways, Metallic Silver and White (IV7022-001) and Black (IV7022-002), both for Wednesday, October 28 at 10:00 ET and both $180.

What the Ecstasy Plus is

It’s the Air Max 2000, a runner from Nike’s Y2K experiments that has barely been seen since. Nike’s own description sums it up: two Air units, a low-profile upper and minimal branding. The rename was first spotted when Supreme put the shoe in its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, and these are the first general-release pairs.

The silver pair is the one that looks most like 2000: a reflective silver mesh upper striped with glossy black overlays that sweep back from the toe, a black mesh collar, a small black Swoosh near the toe, and a black midsole with a full-length run of visible Air, the bigger unit under the heel. The Black pair is the same shoe tonal, with only the clear Air units breaking it up.

Release date and price

  • US: Wednesday, October 28, 10:00 ET on Nike’s SNKRS listings for the Metallic Silver and White and the Black. $180 each.
  • Retailers: JD Sports and other Nike Sportswear stockists are reported to carry the inline pairs. Their launch pages haven’t gone up yet.
  • UK and Europe: not on SNKRS GB or Nike Spain yet, so there’s no UK date or £ price.

A third colorway, “Desert Khaki” (IV7022-200), has shown up in official images, but Nike hasn’t given it a date or a price.

Will it be hard to get?

Unlikely. Two colorways at once, a general release, and a model most buyers don’t know yet usually means sizes are still there after launch morning. Our hype score is an estimate until resale has a number to show.

More from the brand on our Nike page.

Both colorways go up at the same time, so pick one before 10:00 ET rather than trying to check out twice.
