Nike’s SNKRS page has the Air Jordan 14 “Forest Green” down for Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 ET, style code 487471-300. Men’s pairs are $215 and big kids’ are $155, so Halloween gets a Jordan that has nothing to do with Halloween.
The shoe
The Forest Green first came out in 2005 and this is its first retro, per Nike’s own listing. It sticks to the formula: a white leather upper with the stitched, perforated lines that run back from the toe, and Forest Green on the toe vents, the sculpted panel that sweeps along the midsole, and the heel collar.
The AJ14 was the last signature shoe Michael Jordan wore on court for Chicago, and its look came from his Ferrari, which is where the shield-shaped Jumpman badge on the quarter panel and the vented toe come from. Nike’s description mentions chrome details and carbon fibre accents; the carbon shows through under the arch. Round the back, a grey 23 and Jumpman sit on the heel, and the grey tongue pull ends in a green bead.
Release date and price
- US: Saturday, October 31, 10:00 ET on Nike’s SNKRS listing. Men’s $215, big kids’ $155.
- Retailers: select Jordan Brand stockists are reported to carry it in store and online. Check Foot Locker and your local retailer’s launch calendar for raffle or first-come details.
- UK and Europe: not on SNKRS GB or Nike Spain yet, so no UK date or £ price has been announced.
Will it be hard to get?
Probably not. It’s a full general release through SNKRS and Jordan retailers, in men’s and big kids’ sizes, so stock should be deep by Jordan retro standards. That’s why our hype score is low and marked as an estimate until pre-release resale settles.
The appeal is that it’s a 2005 colorway that never came back, not that it’ll be scarce. It closes out a busy October for Jordan after the Air Jordan 12 “Fireside” on October 24 and the women’s Air Jordan 3 “Fireside” the day before. More on our Jordan page.
SNKRS shows the 10:00 ET time for both men’s and big kids’ sizes, so one reminder covers both.
