Air Jordan 9 “Super Freak” Leak: Expected February 13, 2027

New photos show the Randy Moss-inspired Air Jordan 9, JK1415-100, reportedly due Super Bowl weekend at $215. Jordan Brand hasn't confirmed it.

Photos posted by Instagram account @snkr_collector123, reported by Complex, Sneaker Bar Detroit and others on October 14, give the first proper look at the Air Jordan 9 “Super Freak”. The date and price trace to leaker @zSneakerheadz, who first reported the shoe in August. Two independent sources, a good record on one of them, and nothing from Jordan Brand yet.

What we know

  • The shoe: an Air Jordan 9 in white leather with a black mudguard and Varsity Purple on the tongue and outsole: Minnesota Vikings colours.
  • The tribute: Randy Moss was Jordan Brand’s first NFL athlete, wore Jordans on the field for the Vikings and got his own shoe, the Jumpman Super Freak, in 2000. The new pair’s tongue reportedly reads “Twenty 3”, like that original.
  • Style code: JK1415-100, as reported by several outlets.

What we don’t

  • The final design. August’s mock-up showed white leather with purple patent overlays, gold hits and “Super Freak” on the tongue; the new photos show something closer to a standard Air Jordan 9 build. Whether Moss’s No. 84 appears anywhere hasn’t been shown.
  • The date and price. Expected Saturday, February 13, 2027, the day before Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles, at an expected $215. Both are reported, not announced.
  • The UK. No UK date or £ price has been reported.

Jordan Brand hasn’t said where or how it will release. If it lands as reported, expect official images a few weeks before February 13. More on our Jordan page.
