Nike has dated the Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Eterno”: the SNKRS listing shows Friday, October 30 at 10:00 ET, with men’s pairs at $190. The style code is IO6260-800.
The shoe
Nike’s own description ties this one to Día de Muertos, the Mexican tradition of honouring the people who came before. The name translates as “eternal Mamba”. The whole pair is a warm orange, with a floral print running under the translucent TPU cage and across the toe.
The accents are where it gets busy. Nike lists Emerald Green and Hyper Grape: the lateral collar and Swoosh are Hyper Grape, and the official shots show the pair split down the middle, one shoe with a purple collar and the other in green. The tongue and laces fade from one tone to another, the insoles are hot pink, and the outsole carries “Eterno” in script.
Under it is the Protro update Nike gave the Kobe 3 in 2025: a full-length Air Zoom strobel, a Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole, more breathable materials, extra tongue padding and a lighter, retooled traction pattern.
Release date and price
- US: Friday, October 30, 10:00 ET on Nike’s SNKRS listing. Men’s $190.
- Kids: grade school sizes are reported too; Nike’s page doesn’t give a GS price yet.
- Retailers: select Nike Basketball retailers are reported to carry it. Check their launch calendars for draw details.
- UK and Europe: no SNKRS GB or EU listing yet, so the UK date and £ price are not announced.
Will it be hard to get?
Kobe Protros rarely sit on shelves, and a themed colourway with this much colour tends to go faster than the plain team pairs. That said, it’s a SNKRS release with retailer stock behind it, not a tiny collab. Resale has no settled number yet, so our hype score is an estimate.
We’ve also covered the Kobe 10 Protro “5AM Flight” and the Kobe 6 Protro “Coals” leak. More on our Nike page.
October 30 is a Friday, the day before Halloween: set the SNKRS reminder for 10:00 ET, which is 14:00 in the UK.
